To ensure a smooth, transparent, and professional relationship with our guests, Filao Adventures operates under clear booking terms. By confirming a safari with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following foundational policies.
Due to the high demand and limited availability of premium luxury lodges, early booking is essential. To secure your tailor-made itinerary, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required. For itineraries that include specialized permits (such as Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda/Uganda), the full cost of the permit must be paid upfront.
The remaining balance of your safari cost is due no later than 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If a booking is made within 60 days of travel, the full amount is payable immediately.
We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes "cancel for any reason" coverage. Should you need to cancel your trip, the following standardized cancellation fees apply:
